Animal Reiki
Whether
at the beginning of life or nearing the end, your pet isn’t
able to communicate its physical or emotional pain, yet each
owner knows when his pet companion needs additional attention.
Animal Reiki is an energetic connection specially adapted to
pets and other animals which offers targeted pain and stress
reduction techniques through light touch.
 Jennifer
Ortman, our Animal Reiki Specialist, will work individually
with your pet or animal companion to relieve anxiety and pain
or to improve wellness. A Mobile Animal Reiki Program brings
the services of The Reiki Center to your home or farm for larger
animals.
Office session: $60/45 min.
Please use special Animal Reiki entrance at the north parking
lot. Mobile fee is individually determined.

Animal Communication
As a child, Jen spent much of her day surrounded my farm animals and nature. It was there that she learned she could communicate with them very naturally. Until she was a teenager, Jen really believed this was something everyone could do! She has the ability to see, hear, and smell through the process of communicating with your animal. This is accomplished using several energetic techniques. Jen is honored to act as a translator for your best friend, communicating things that are important to them, and therefore, strengthening the human-animal bond. Having worked in the veterinary industry for more than 25 years, Jen specializes in animal medical intuition, behavior, and animal life transitions. She has also worked with many veterinarians who have benefited from animal communication and lost pet services. You will hear your animals words, directly as they are communicated to Jen, whether they are living, or have passed on.
Cost: $60 for 30 minutes; $120 for 60 minutes.

Canine Massage
If you have experienced the benefits of a therapeutic massage, then you know that your dog will enjoy it, too. Jennifer Ortman, Director of the Animal Reiki Clinic, is certified in Canine Therapeutic Massage and is now offering treatments at The Reiki Center. Professional dog massage is a recognized therapeutic modality which increases your dog’s circulation, assists in the removal of metabolic toxins, helps to reduce muscle tension, and releases discomfort from cramping and soreness. The technique is especially appreciated by senior pets who suffer from chronic conditions.
Cost for full Canine Massage: $60. |

Pets & Their People
This special offering includes a one hour Reiki session for you and your pet to enjoy together. At The Reiki Center, we understand the importance & depth of your connection with your special companion. While Jen Ortman works with your pet, you will enjoy your Session with Terri Vrbancic. Pets & Their People is a simultaneous Reiki session for both you & your pet in the same room.
Cost: Normally priced at $120, we are offering Pets & Their People at an introductory rate of only $90!

Animal Reiki I
You must have taken Reiki I or be Reiki trained to take Animal Reiki I. Whether at the beginning of life or nearing the end, your pet isn’t able to communicate its physical or emotional pain, yet each owner knows when his pet companion needs additional attention. Animal Reiki is an energetic connection specially adapted to pets and other animals which offers targeted pain and stress reduction techniques. Classes are designed for veterinarians, animal rescue staff and other animal professionals, as well as pet owners who wish to energetically enhance their pets’ lives. Learn treatment techniques for individual species, animal behavior and body language, establishing trust, and assessing energy imbalances through the animal chakra system.
Cost: $150 with a $50 Deposit* (see below for the Animal Reiki I & Animal Reiki II Combo which offers a savings on your classes)

Animal Reiki II
This curriculum builds from the basics of Level One Animal Reiki. ARII puts the principles of Beaming, Merging, Distance Healing, Interpreting Animal Behavior & Body Language into practice, with emphasis on techniques, practicum, and exposure to different species. Advanced concepts are explored while working with animals with different physical and emotional situations. Jennifer Ortman, MS, CTMT will offer you hands on experience with multiple species of animals in her care in order for you to practice your skills as an energy worker. You will learn more in depth concepts about transference of energy and 'reading' an animal’s energetic field while in treatment. These concepts are perfect for those who are in a professional field including Veterinarians & clinical staff, rescues, shelter volunteers, and zoo personnel. However, the concepts taught here are not limited to people already employed in these areas. Anyone can develop Animal Reiki skills in order to bring healing benefits to all animals one encounters.
If you own pets or manage a farm, Animal Reiki is an excellent way to enrich the lives of the animals in your care. If you volunteer at a shelter or spend a lot of time in nature, these skills will open you up to the messages that are all around you. There is much we can learn from all the animals in nature and there is no limit to what species Animal Reiki can be of benefit. Jennifer Ortman will help you develop your sensitivity to Reiki in order to 'tune in' to the world we are a part of every day. Advanced Animal Reiki is a pre-requisite for the 6-week internship.

Advanced Animal Practicum
Building on techniques and principles introduced in Animal Reiki Levels I and II, the Animal Reiki Advanced Practicum is an experience-rich two hour class session. Each month, a different Advanced Animal Reiki learning opportunity will be featured in an instructional, supportive setting. Complicated cases featured may be behavioral, medical, or a combination of both. Students will benefit from hands on direction, support, and critique of their work with the animal client. Prerequisite: AR I and AR II.
