Practitioners at The Reiki Center are at Advanced or Master Level, with additional expertise in a wide variety of integrative healthcare modalities.

Linda Haley - Reiki Center, Columbus, Ohio
Linda Haley, R.M.T.
, is a Reiki Master and founder of The Reiki Center, as well as the Center’s Director.  She is the primary teacher for all levels of Reiki classes (Beginner, Advanced, Internship, Apprenticeship and Master Level.) Linda also offers Guided Release, which accesses deep memories and answers through Reiki-enhanced visualization, and CranioSacral Therapy, a technique which assists the body to physically release tension and restrictions. 

She is a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals and currently serves as President of the Center’s nonprofit, Stone Soup Project.  Prior to founding the Center, Linda served as Medical Records Administrator for the Wexner Heritage Village,  Development Manager for the Columbus Museum of Art, and Community Affairs Director for the City of Groveport.


Don HaleyEvery organization has one person who handles the details, makes sure that things are fixed, and generally helps to navigate the challenges of a 7-day-a-week operation.

Don Haley, Operations Coordinator, greets visitors, supervises facility maintenance and housekeeping, and coordinates many of the Center’s special projects. Don also serves as Agency Liaison for the Center’s nonprofit, Stone Soup Project, managing the details of the frequent SSP wellness fairs in partnership with area social service agencies.  Prior to his retirement, Don was President of Draftsco, a design drafting firm he founded to create industrial blueprints.


Core Team

C BeanC. Bean, Usui Reiki Master, Intuitive Empath, Claircognizant, Clairsentient, and Spirit guided Intuitive Artist.  With a BFA from CCAD, in Columbus, and Master of Expressive Therapies at Lesley University, in Massachusetts, she is currently studying towards her Doctorate Degree at The University of Sedona & Metaphysics. After a career with the Ohio Departments of Mental Health, Youth Services and Adult Corrections, she turned her gifts to energy medicine.


Kelly BissonKelly Bisson earned her Usui Reiki first and second degrees in 2004, before relocating from Vermont to central Ohio in 2006. She became a Reiki Center staff practitioner in 2008, and earned her Reiki Master level in 2011. She has been a practitioner of Vibrational Therapy with tuning forks since 2009, and has taken the Animal Reiki training. In 2015 she was certified as an Advanced Medical Intuitive after completing training under Tina M. Zion. A fourth generation empath, she utilizes her intuitive abilities to assist in her sessions. She has found an affinity to different spiritual ideas, especially Buddhism, Druidism and Native American wisdom. Her interests include writing, music, astrology, watching baseball, walking in the woods, and cuddling with her tiger-calico cat, Tabitha.


Tami Echemann

Tami Echemann organizes and coordinates The Reiki Center’s operations as office manager. She handles class registrations, scheduling appointments, visitor and telephone inquiries, and the countless details of business operations. 


Linda GroomLJ Groom,R.M.T., is a Reiki Master, trained in the traditional Usui System of Natural Healing. She is also a certified Integrational Reflexologist, and a certified coach in Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT Tapping,) a group of techniques used to release stuck emotions that may hinder the ability to move towards life goals and true happiness. She teaches both Reiki and Children’s Reiki at The Reiki Center, as well.

LJ earned her B. A. in Elementary Education in 1994, teaching and tutoring for several years before coming to The Reiki Center. She loves cooking, riding motorcycles with her husband, and spending time with her family.


Heidi Howes

Heidi Howes is an urban shamanic practitioner, intuitive, and transformation coach. Her healing and coaching go hand in hand to provide practical resources as well as an unseen alchemy to invoke the catalyst for one’s healing and success. 

Melody JenkinsMelody Lynn Jenkins, Reiki Master, is a licensed and ordained Minister with over 34 years experience studying world religions, metaphysical science, and the field of complimentary medicine. As a Claircognizant, she is a gifted intuitive seer and healer. She is proficient in reading runes and runic tarot. Melody received her BA in Sociology from The Ohio State University and her MA in Metaphysical Sciences from the University of Sedona & Metaphysics where she is currently studying for a Doctorate Degree. Melody is also a Sound Healer and Intuitive Counselor. She developed the IlluminAura Restorative Experience and also offers past life regression. Her interests also include ley lines, energy vortexes, the paranormal, crop circles and astrology.


Denise MusserDenise Musser is a Reiki Master and Animal Reiki Practitioner through the Center, with many years of volunteer experience as a rescue and animal enrichment practitioner. She is also the co-manager of the Animal Wellness Program, specializing in the use of essential oils for pets. Denise has spent many years and countless hours using her Animal Reiki skills at various rescues throughout Central Ohio. She transports homeless dogs from Missouri to rescues along the east coast. She also enjoys helping her family, friends and co-workers find homes for dogs in need of a new home. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and their four dogs, Max, Layla, Rocky and Simon.

Kaye SmithKaye Smith has completed Reiki Master and Animal Reiki training at The Reiki Center and serves as co-manager of the Animal Wellness Program. She has 15+ years of pet rescue and dog training experience along with many human and animal volunteers hours through Stone Soup Project, the Center's nonprofit. Kaye has valuable experience using Reiki to find good homes for homeless animals while assisting their people who love them to keep them happily together for life. She shares her life with her husband, their four dogs, and a cat, while fostering dogs until they find their forever home. Working with the animals, using Reiki, has helped her to both find forever homes for pets and work with the people who love them has helped to keep them happily together for life.

Practitioners at The Reiki Center are highly skilled in the presentation of energy wellness services. They will not diagnose a medical condition, prescribe medication or otherwise offer health care options. Specific health care concerns should be directed to your personal physician.
